BLUE HOUR TRANSFORMED
For the Fall/Winter 2025 campaign of AKRIS, we translated the strength of art into a spatial concept. Inspired by the cyanotypes of American artist Alyson Shotz, the interpretation of the Blue Hour took center stage, that brief time of day when light and darkness dissolve into one another.
Shotz’s cyanotypes, echo in the design. Structural clarity met flowing depth, geometric form met poetic movement. The aesthetics of this fleeting moment were brought into three dimensions through a deliberate choice of materials such as printed double-face wool and silk duchesse.
Through an installation that balances depth, structure and lightness, the duality of stillness and change becomes tangible, a tribute to precision, reduction and the quiet power of transformation.
