Let’s sit down AND TALK WITH CORRADO

TODAY WE ARE TALKING TO CORRADO; WHO JOINED DFROST IN JUNE THIS YEAR. CORRADO, CAN YOU BRIEFLY EXPLAIN YOUR JOB AT DFROST?

Sure, I creatively design within the realms of Retail Window Design, Visual Communication, and POS-Events. I develop campaigns, personally assist clients, and prioritize the utmost quality.

THANKS! WHAT MAKES DFROST SO SPECIAL FOR YOU?

In general, the many new contacts. Our agency consists of so many cool different personalities. Working together as a team is simply fun. But I also really like the fact that you work with international clients from so many different industries.

WHAT INSPIRES YOU?

My inspiration as an art director comes from a mix of art, music, travel and a fascination for different cultures. I am also constantly inspired by the challenges of everyday life and conversations with creative people.

WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR BIGGEST HIGHLIGHT SO FAR?

I think it was the first time I worked on a project, for a well-known fashion brand, completely independently. From the conception of the idea to the presentation, I was responsible for everything and to see the finished result in the window is a really cool feeling.

WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR BIGGEST CHALLENGE SO FAR?

After my training as a graphic designer, I worked mainly in the online sector. So it was a change for me to move from HTML and content maintenance to spatial thinking. I had to get used to translating storytelling into physical touchpoints. But I think it was worth it, because in the end you have a direct end product that you are always a bit proud of!

WHAT COULD YOU NOT WORK WITHOUT?

Without my favorite Adobe programmes, smooth running technology and my buddy Grey (Olivia’s dog).

WHAT ARE YOUR HOBBIES AND INTERESTS? AND HOW DO THEY INFLUENCE YOUR WORK?

I was a hip-hop dance teacher. I used to come up with choreos, and my creativity played an important role in that. I also only ever dance in groups, which of course increased my team spirit a lot.

Another interest of mine is fashion. I always keep up to date with fashion trends. (Even if I sometimes find them a bit questionable :)) So I am always up to date and have developed an eye for aesthetics.

WHAT ELSE WOULD YOU LIKE TO TELL THE READERS?

Don’t be so stressed all the time, live the »Dolce Vita« once in a while!
