Let’s sit down AND TALK WITH JOHANNA

Johanna, YOU HAVE AN ARCHITECTURE DEGREE AND ARE NOW THE PROJECT MANAGER FOR RETAIL Architecture AT DFROST. DOES THAT LEAVE ANY SPACE FOR THE CREATIVITY ASPECT YOU PROBABLY WANTED OUT OF YOUR CAREER?

I don’t see myself as a creative, but as an aesthete.
For me, it is important to apply functional aspects according to creative principles in such a way that a good and appealing design is created. My studies have paved the way for me to apply these principles.

THAT SOUNDS EXCITING. CAN YOU TELL US WHAT EXACTLY YOUR JOB INVOLVES?

I’m not sure if this article has enough lines for that answer!
My job is as individual as the clients I work with. I try to solve every task, every idea, every wish that is brought to me, precisely in accordance with the needs of the brand.
Much of what we do is teamwork. That’s why the management and the processes from the first enquiry to the later implementation are certainly the core of my work.
I am therefore a kind of link between internal processes in our agency, the customer, production and the manufacturer.

What would you definitely not want to do without in a job?

3 Screens and a Swopper.

What makes working at DFROST so special and what has become indispensable?

My colleagues –
and the view over Stuttgart when you come into the office in the morning.

WHAT WILL BE YOUR NEXT PROJECT WITH DFROST?

I would like to know that, too!

Do you fit in our team? Let’s get in touch.
