REFLECTIONS OF IDENTITY

Bricks is another window installation created for Gübelin, specifically tailored to a dedicated jewellery line while translating key brand values such as individuality and connection into spatial form.

The design is inspired by the structure of crumpled paper: a dense, central core forms the visual anchor from which the composition unfolds to both sides, gradually opening and softening. The result is a spatial arc of tension between focus and expansion—an expressive metaphor for connection and movement.

Each brick is multi-chromed and polished to a high-gloss finish. Their flawless surfaces give the floating forms a strong visual presence.

The installation is supported by a custom-developed ceiling grid, discreetly integrated into the existing architecture. It enables flexible, long-term use and transforms the technical structure into a fixed part of the overall design—functionally conceived, visually refined.
